I’m excited and proud to announce that after successfully completing the requirements, I have now become an affiliate of the Nanotechnology Research Center at Georgia Tech! Special thanks to Dr. Paul Joseph, Senior Research Scientist and a fine gentleman at NRC for facilitating the program.

Nanotechnology is about a magical world – one that is small enough to be covered to the naked eye and yet, with a big promise to the future.

In the days ahead, I and by extension, StanAm Institute plan to provide high-tech services to clients, conduct nano research, explore new technological territories, and find new ways to solve old problems.

Yee…haw!

Little River Falls, Alabama

Located near Gaylesville/Fort Payne, the Preserve is maintained by the National Park Service (NPS) and open to the public on most days. Click the photo to open a quick album.

Click here for more information from NPS. Of course, no matter how pretty Littler River Canyon, the waterfalls or the surrounding areas may be, the trip wouldn’t be complete without visiting the landmark they’ve built in Fort Payne for the Boys of “Alabama” !

Big Tragedy at Little River – The Gadsden Times reported today that Ms. Becky Griffith, 39 of Cartersville, Georgia died yesterday when she fell in the waterfall while trying to take a picture!
