About

“StanAm” represents a set of private nonprofit initiatives that attempt to bring South Asians and North Americans together for mutual respect and benefit.  StanAm is a nonprofit educational, scientific and cultural organization directed by like-minded people that care about these issues.

Finer details of how best to go about accomplishing the goals are currently being formulated and will be announced on this website soon as they take shape so, please stay tuned.  Initial attempts, however, will be focused on finding common grounds between the states of Andhra Pradesh and Georgia.

How did the name come to be?  (Hindu)stan+America = StanAm.  Who is behind this initiative?  Welcome aboard!  For now, it’s a one-man operation by George Paul Puvvada but there is room for many.

Go ahead and consider this as an invitation for your participation in this endeavor and also a request for your generous support of time, talents, skills and any other resources   that you may like to contribute for the cause.  Care to comment?
